Nightmare for Najib & Rosmah: What goes around comes around INCLUDING C4

by  Victor Lim
YES! As the window to the 13th General Election shuts on April 28, 2013, we will surely be seeing more and more public revelations on scandals linked to Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders, especially to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and Umno.
That’s because the ruling BN is now actually Umno, all other coalition parties are just irrelevant and are there to just make up the numbers for multi-racial multi-religious Malaysia.
The logic and reality is simple to Malaysians – Umno falls, BN falls, thus the public’s rallying cry for ABU (Asalkan Bukan Umno or Anthing But Umno).

Malaysia is world champion in corruption

Despite Malaysia's high-profile anti-corruption crusade, half of the corporate executives surveyed by a global corruption watchdog believe that competitors have obtained business in the country through bribery.

Transparency International said Malaysia scored worst in the 2012 Bribe Payers Survey.

It asked nearly 3,000 executives from 30 countries whether they had lost a contract in the past year because competitors paid a bribe, and in Malaysia, 50% of them said 'yes'.

Feature : Plan for more dams generates dismay in S’wak

By Siva Sithraputhran

The wave of dam-building in Sarawak has created ripples of fear among environmentalists and groups representing indigenous tribes.

MURUM (Sarawak): The trucks that ply the rough road to the Murum dam under construction in Sarawak kick up clouds of dust that obscure the trail and make driving treacherous. Within an hour, at least 40 of them go by, laden with freshly cut timber.
The dam on a tributary of the Rajang river is just the start of a staggeringly ambitious plan to block many of the state’s major waterways by 2020 to tap cheap energy and turn one of Malaysia’s poorest states into a Southeast Asian industrial and energy hub.

Deepak: MACC more interested in a ‘cover-up’

'Carpet man' Deepak Jaikishan has asked MACC to reopen their investigations related to the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu
PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) was more interested in covering up, rather than investigating, the secret dealings following the 2006 murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.
This was the claim by controversial businessman Deepak Jaikishan, who said that the anti-graft authority had recorded his statement over his role but had taken no further action to follow up.
“I was called by MACC for investigation but the MACC was more interested to cover up the matter,” the well-connected carpet trader said in an interview with PAS mouthpiece Harakahdaily, which was posted in a video online recently.

WHY SO FAR OFF? Altantuya killers get court hearing only on June 11

Former political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda, 50, who was jointly charged with them was acquitted by the High Court on Oct 31, 2008 after the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case against him.

CRIMINAL COVER-UP starts to tear apart: Torrent of revelations against Najib & Rosmah UNABATED

A rattled Najib tries to figure out how to counter allegations of criminal cover-up.
A controversial businessman and onetime family friend of Malaysia's prime minister appears to be doing what the country?s political opposition has been unable to accomplish for years: publicly tie the top UMNO leader to serious and politically damaging crimes.
In a spate of interviews with opposition and independent websites that seemingly deliver new and damaging revelations each day, Deepak Jaikishan has now connected Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, Najib?s brother Nazim and Najib?s wife, Rosmah Mansor, to the politically charged cover-up of the 2006 murder of the jet-setting Mongolian beauty Altantuya Shaariibuu, itself a part of a much bigger scandal involving ?114 million in kickbacks to top Malaysian politicians for the purchase of French submarines.

THERE IS NO ESCAPE: Najib, Gani must respond to the latest Altantuya allegations

By GOBIND SINGH DEO
Gobind Singh Deo
Malaysia will forever remain in a dark cloud over the killing of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu because of the failure on part of our criminal justice system to secure complete justice for her.
We have failed until now to explain why Altantuya was killed and more importantly who directed her killing.
The recent claims by Deepak Jaikishan surrounding the making of a statutory declaration has added more fuel into a fire which just cannot seem to be put out.
The Attorney General Tan Sri Gani Patail, should respond to the allegations made by Deepak that "justice has not yet been done "in the case involving Altantuya

Comment : Truth in bits and pieces

Altantuya Shaariibuu

If carpet man Deepak Jaikishan is lying, then Najib should use the full force of the law to protect the sanctity of the office of the prime minister.
Why is the truth coming out in instalments? Weren’t these people once trusted lieutenants? Now they are being looked upon as conniving opportunists working together with the opposition to oust Najib Tun Razak for no rhyme or reason. Does that make sense?
Thus far everyone who has given testimony against the powers-that-be has been branded a liar. Musa Hassan, of all people, has now come out.
And former home minister Syed Hamid Albar, together with his successor Hishammuddin Hussein, have successfully revealed the level of common sense that prevails in Umno now.

PKR leaders deny masterminding exposé

By G Vinod

R Sivarasa
Subang MP R Sivarasa and party vice president N Surendran say they decided to take up the carpet businessman's case in their capacity as lawyers.

PETALING JAYA: PKR leaders mentioned in the video shown by pro-Umno blogger Papagomo have denied that the party is behind the recent exposé by carpet businessman Deepak Jaikishen.

In a text message to FMT, Subang MP R Sivarasa said that PKR vice-president N Surendran and himself were appointed by Deepak to represent the latter in his suit against Selangor Wanita Umno chief Raja Roopiah Abdullah ‘s company, Awan Megah, regarding a land deal.

Najib chided for AMAZING SILENCE over Deepak bombshells

Najib Razak
Despite the extensive coverage to the latest allegations on prime minister Najib Razak and his wife by a businessman, the UMNO president refused to clear his name at the party's 66th annual general assembly.
PAS information chief Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said by ignoring the matter, Najib had allowed a good opportunity to clear his name to go to waste.
“The people were waiting for PM’s response in his winding speech, but he did not even touch the subject. Had the opportunity been taken give an explanation, it would reach many as his speech was given such wide coverage,” he said.

WHO IN UMNO is Deepak now working for: Is Najib still tenable as PM?

Written by  Chua Jui Meng
Former Health Minister
of Malaysia
DEEPAK Jaikishan’s shocking and damning revelations of his ties with Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and wife Rosmah Mansor is serious and embarrassing to Malaysia.
Deepak indirectly exposes Najib and Rosmah’s link with the murder case of Mongolian interpreter Altantuya Shaariibuu via his involvement in private investigator P. Balasubramaniam (PI Bala)’s statutory declarations.
Deepak also said his mistake was to jump in to help friends – referring to Najib, who was then a defence minister, and his wife.
The ongoing RM6.7 billion scandalous purchase of two second-hand French-made Scorpene submarines which is being investigated by a French court is also damaging Najib and Malaysia.
Who in Umno stands to gain the most
Deepak’s timing to spill the beans on Najib and Rosmah is also very suspicious – coming a day before Najib is scheduled to deliver his presidential address at the opening of an annual Umno General Assembly.
